Funds raised through Maxton's fight Inc. are distributed to organizations that provide comfort items to children and families, as well as families who are faced with financial hardship.

Maxton, or "Max" for short, was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on November 13, 2013 at age 2 years, 9 months.
Early in his course of treatment, Max received a cape from an organization called Capes4Heroes. He would don it at every treatment over the next three years, becoming "SuperMax" and the inspiration to pay the kindness shown to Max forward.

July 2014 - Maxton's Fight Inc was incorporated as a charity with the purpose of raising awareness and funding for children battling disease.
September 2014 The foundation's first fundraiser event the SuperMax 5k Run/Walk - was held.
April 2015 - Maxton's Fight is recognized as a 501 (c) 3
